fall brawl

So last spring, we decided to hit up the Philly area for six games in two days with ten players. This past weekend, we figured those numbers were a bit unfavorable, so we went back with eight players for eight games in two days. That was much more fun! We finished fifth out of twelve in a field chock full of Easterns teams, and brought home the spirit trophy as well! Not bad at all, gentlemen!

A special thanks goes out to Mendon regulars Josh and Vythand who picked up with us for the weekend, David Manly for willing to experience first-hand what competitive ultimate is all about, and Miles for playing way better than a freshman should ever be expected to play in his first real games, especially up against such intense competition! And more special thanks goes out to Mr. Abbott for driving most of the team out for the six hour drive, and for cleaning up not one, but two bloody wounds from David Hall's face!

I need to make sure we have an adequate number of players, as well as adult chaperons/drivers. And I can tell you right now, more drivers are definitely needed!
